“The Unleashed Power of Good Trouble- African American Women”
A VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN VIRTUAL STATE CONVENTION:
Know how to use the meeting technology – Participants should make sure they are trained on all the technologies being used to support a virtual meeting. For the state convention we will use zoom. Download it here: https://zoom.us. Participants should identify themselves when joining a virtual meeting. For meetings using Internet collaboration tools, ensure that each participant is listed by name and organization in the participants list and that phone numbers are linked with participants’ names. Always identify yourself when speaking. This is especially important when the majority of participants are face-to-face and just a few are virtual. It’s easy to forget that there are virtual participants who aren’t able to see (and thus identify) the speaker. . If you find it difficult to follow along at any point during the state convention please email convention support stateconvention@naacpnc.org or call/text the convention support line: 919-764-0142. It is preferred that everyone remains flexible as we pioneer a new way we experience the NC NAACP State Convention.
